Seven Pots of Tea includes dozens of recipes for teas, and explores the flavors and health benefits hidden in tea, through Ayurveda’s six ‘rasas’’ or essential tastes. Learn to make more than three dozen easy brews, teas and tisanes. Learn to make simple nosh and eats to pair with your cups of tea.

“Seven Pots of Tea” is just as much for beginners who want to make subtle changes to just one part of their daily routine, as it is for those who are looking for a guide, or collection of Ayurvedic teas, brews, tisanes, and healthy snacks to supplement what they already have on hand. Seven Pots of Tea, is meant to dovetail directly into your existing routines and rituals of self-care. It is not a tea-tox book.

All the recipes in this book explore six essential Ayurvedic tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, pungent/spicy, astringent and salty.

Through tea - the easiest way to achieve self care.

What is Ayurveda

Ayurveda, a practice developed centuries ago, is essentially about listening to what ones’ body needs, and helping it - through food and self-care. Ayurveda and Ayurvedic eating suggests seasonal eating, in moderation. It involves being ‘in the moment’, self-care and mindfulness. It offers the tools to better many aspects of our life that we are striving to improve anyway. Ayurvedic eating, is self-conscious eating in a good way – so easy that anyone can do it. It does not replace medical advice, is not a medical cure – but it is essential a self-care ritual.

Ayurveda, for the tea lover.

Tea, for the Ayurvedic lifestyle enthusiast.

A cookbook filled with more than three dozen recipes for Ayurvedic, functional teas, along with more than two dozen recipes for sides and Ayurvedic pantry staples.
